Who we are

The Global Outreach Team is fully committed to engaging the congregation to follow God’s passion for spreading His glory throughout the world...from next door, to the ends of the earth. Our vision is to promote a missions-minded culture within the church body that is committed to proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ through prayer, encouragement, and the training and sending of missionaries. These efforts include any endeavor beyond the local church body to fulfill the Great Commission of Christ by making disciples and by relating to the totality of human need: spiritual, emotional, physical, and intellectual.

Get Involved

It is the heart of the Global Outreach Team to encourage every member of the congregation to be involved in missions through one or more of the following ways:

Pray: If you are willing to intercede for each of our missionaries as well as the lost they are trying to reach, then join us for an exciting hour of prayer. Every first and third Wednesday at 3:00 PM in the Bride's Room (Room 211) there is an opportunity to read over their current requests and spend time bringing these praises and requests before the Lord.

Send: Each member can be involved by supporting missionaries spiritually, financially, and emotionally during their term of service. We are also seeking people who are willing to be involved personally, whether locally in ministries such as Farm Drive, or globally as a missionary to the uttermost parts, either short term, or long term. The Team is committed to mentoring, equipping and sending our own members.

Care: People can be involved through practical assistance to missionaries and their families while they are on home assignments. This includes the following: housing and car needs, inviting them into your home for a meal, assistance in finding medical and services and education for their children.
